Weaving: A New Obsession

I have been fascinated by weaving but just never went there. Who needs another hobby right? I spin and I knit. That is enough. But no, Santa went and got me a Cricket Schacht Loom. I have decided that it is the new instant gratification.

There is a pretty quick learning curve that happens with the weaving. For me right now I want to focus on  making sure my sides are clean and that the yarn fits the edges cleanly. I need to find the perfect yarn for my mom's 60th birthday present which [insert gasp of surprise here] will be a hand woven scarf.
